Phil Valachi, a veteran automotive digital retailing technology executive, has been tapped as Digital Air Strike’s new senior vice president of operations and client success at a time when digital retail appears to be gaining significant traction among dealerships and customers alike.
In his new role, Valachi will lead the team in this division and focus on delivering return on investment to clients in the United States and Canada.
“It’s great to have Phil’s expertise at Digital Air Strike. He is a proven automotive veteran that I have had the pleasure of knowing since our time together working at Dealertrack,” said Alexi Venneri, Co-founder and CEO of Digital Air Strike.
It is worth noting that Venneri previously ran marketing, communications, and investor relations at Dealertrack. She was also part of the senior executive team that took Dealertrack public in 2005.
“It’s wonderful to work together again and leverage Phil’s deep experience working in auto retail tech, digital marketing, and F&I with dealers, OEMs, and technology vendors,” said Venneri.
Valachi joined the company with more than 20 years of operational and client services leadership experience, with automotive experience stemming back to his time at Dealertrack in New York, where he spent 12 years leading the service and operations teams for a number of areas—including digital retailing solutions.
“Digital Air Strike fit my background exactly and complemented what I’ve loved doing for years,” said Valachi, adding that “I love scaling and building out operational teams and elevating client success models.”
Valachi is a native of Long Island, New York, and graduated from the College of Staten Island with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
