Andrew Ojamae, President and CEO of the AutoIQ Dealership Network, has been named the recipient of the 2021 ABSC (Automotive Business School of Canada) Alumni Award.
For the special occasion, Ojamae was convinced by his AutoIQ Dealership Network team to attend an important meeting in Barrie, Ont., and received the news of his award via a video that played in the meeting room, where video testimonials from ABSC students, staff, alumni, and industry colleagues offered praise about why they believe he deserved the award.
“It’s an incredible feeling to have people feel that you have impacted their life somehow or we’ve impacted the school somehow, because as much as this may be an award for me, I’ve benefited from more than just this award,” said Ojamae in the video. “I’ve benefited from all the people who I’ve had an opportunity to work with and met through the school.”
Mike Stollery, Chairman and Founder of AutoIQ and Past Chair of CADA, said Ojamae may have left the ABSC, “but as was said, (he) never really leaves the school.”
Jason Dale, Executive Director of the ABSC and Georgian College, also offered a comment, saying the award was well deserved and that Ojamae has done a lot for the school, AutoIQ and Ojamae’s team.

Ojamae was also recently named one of this year’s recipients of the Georgian College Board of Governors’ Awards of Distinction (Community Partner Award). More on that here.
